My toilet is blocked. Who should I call?
Choose toilet unblocking if water rises in the bowl or will not clear. Mention whether other drains are affected and if this is your only toilet; avoid repeated flushing when the level rises. A toilet that drains normally but keeps refilling needs a different plumbing repair.
Why do my sink and shower both drain slowly?
Several affected fittings may point to a blockage farther along a shared waste route, rather than two separate traps. Describe which fittings and neighbouring properties are affected. Responsibility for shared or public drainage should be checked before private work is commissioned.
A drain keeps blocking. Do I need a CCTV survey?
A camera survey may help explain a recurring problem after suitable access and any necessary clearance. It is a different scope from unblocking or repairing the pipe. Share previous clearance dates and reports so we can discuss the useful next step rather than repeat the same work.

Investigating a drain that keeps blocking

- A blockage returns after clearance, or several outlets drain slowly. Repeating the same clearance may leave an underlying defect unexplained.
- The work involved
- Establish the accessible drain route and who is responsible, then inspect the agreed runs with a camera where conditions allow. Any clearance needed first is a separate part of the scope.
- Checks and next steps
- Review the recorded findings, explain any visible obstruction or defect and set out the next step. A camera survey does not itself repair a damaged pipe.
